So we were voting for “best actors, best musical actors, best comedic actors, etc.” in my theater class for the end-of-the-year banquet, and those who are elected could only be seniors.
One of the most genuinely hilarious guys I’ve met (and will probably ever meet) went up to me later today and informed me that he had originally voted for me as “Best Dramatic Actress”, until he realized I was a junior.
He told me I did a really great job in 22% Fear, and it honestly just made my day. It was just a small lil thing, but it was a really huge compliment/ego-boost for me.
And being able to end this year with The Vagina Monologues was absolutely amazing for me. I got to experiment with an entirely new and foreign role, and from what I’ve heard, I did pretty well. I was so honored to be chosen to be apart of the cast, and to be given a chance to work with so much incredible talent before the year ends. It was really an experience I will never forget.
